HIFU Aftercare Instructions

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help keep your skin hydrated and support the natural healing process.
  • Avoid Direct Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from the sun by avoiding direct sunlight for at least 1 week after treatment. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day, even if you're indoors, to protect your skin and maintain results.
  • Use Gentle Skincare Products: For the first 48 hours post-treatment, use a gentle, hydrating cleanser and a mild moisturizer. Avoid products containing retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), or any exfoliating agents until the skin has fully recovered (about 5-7 days).
  • Avoid Heat and Sweating: Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense exercise for 48 hours after the treatment, as heat can increase swelling and discomfort.
  • No Makeup for 24 Hours: Avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours post-treatment to prevent irritation and allow your skin to breathe and heal.
  • Refrain from Touching or Rubbing the Treated Area: Do not rub, massage, or apply pressure to the treated area for at least 48 hours to avoid irritation and ensure the best possible results.
  • Avoid Other Facial Treatments: Avoid other facial treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, or laser treatments, for at least 2 weeks post-HIFU to allow your skin to heal fully.
  • Be Patient with Results: HIFU results develop gradually over 2-3 months as new collagen forms. Be patient and follow the recommended aftercare to achieve the best outcome.
  • Manage Mild Discomfort: It is normal to experience mild redness, swelling, or tingling in the treated area. This should subside within a few hours to days.
  • Contact Us If You Have Concerns: If you experience any unexpected side effects, such as severe pain, prolonged redness, or signs of infection, please contact us immediately.
